Dr Xing-Gang Yan currently is a Senior Lecturer in Control Engineering in the University of Kent, United Kingdom.

He worked as a Research Fellow/Research Associate in the Northwestern Polytechnical University, China, the University of Hong Kong, China, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and the University of Leicester, United Kingdom. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Engineering Research and Science & Technology.
His research subject is Control Theory with Applications in robot system, automated highway systems, networked control systems, high speed railway, flight control and multimachine power systems etc.
